Part of the Oasys Innovation service is its inventory for hire, with a value of more than R125-million. Marquee space totals 18 600m² in different shapes and sizes, and draping measures 90km in length.
The Johannesburg branch has 28 000m² of exhibition panels and 27 000m² of shell scheme for exhibition booths, as well as 125km of aluminium and 5 575m² of 16mm lightweight boards and 1 947m² of 16mm chipboard.
The electrical division has 18km of cable, 9 000 spotlights, track lights and flood lights, and 2 500 fluorescent lights, as well as 700 electrical distribution boards. Oasys Durban holds stock of 3 500m2 of shell scheme and Cape Town’s inventory for hire includes 10 000m² of shell scheme, 24 000m² of carpets, 200 distribution boards, hundreds of exhibition lights and many kilometres of electrical cable. The company offers the best in audiovisual equipment, with 120km of audio and video cable and 60 kilowatts of sound equipment. The range of furniture can fit into seven large retail stores, while there are 120 000m² of carpet tiles. Carpet tiles of 500mm x 500mm in size are available in various colours. There are many optional extras, including store rooms, wire mesh grids as attachments for product displays and concertina doors.
Modular shell schemes include panels, fascias, fascia names and ceiling beams. A wide range of colours are available for lamination of panels. A proven system of extruded aluminium and styrene panels, branded as Octanorm or Syma, is used for shell schemes.
